About The Position
The Staff Nurse (RN) works in the Surgical/Trauma/Neuro department within Hennepin Healthcare System's Patient and Family Centered Care model. Under general supervision, the registered nurse provides and coordinates nursing care, partnering with patients, their families, and significant others. The position is 0.6 FTE (48 hours per pay period), with six 8-hour evening shifts per pay period and an every-other-weekend rotation. Call is not required.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Possession of a valid Registered Nurse license issued by the State of Minnesota.
Nice To Haves
- Certification in the area of clinical specialty.
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred; advancement in academic education is strongly encouraged and will be discussed during the annual performance review.
