Staff Nurse (RN) - Surgical/ Trauma/ Neuro

About The Position
Within the context of the Hennepin Healthcare System Patient and Family Centered Care model, and under general supervision, the registered nurse provides and coordinates nursing care. The position is in department STNU and is 0.9 FTE (72 hours per pay period), with six 12-hour shifts per pay period on days or nights. The role includes an every-third-weekend rotation; call is not required.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Possession of a valid Registered Nurse license issued by the State of Minnesota.
Nice To Haves
- Certification in an area of clinical specialty.
- A Bachelor of Nursing degree (BSN) is preferred and strongly encouraged. Advancement in academic education will be discussed as part of individual professional development during the annual performance review.
