About The Position
Within the Hennepin Healthcare System Patient and Family Centered Care model, and under general supervision, the registered nurse provides and coordinates nursing care. The position is in the STNU department and is listed as Surgical/Trauma/Neuro. It is 0.6 FTE (48 hours per pay period), with six 8-hour shifts per pay period. Shifts include days and evenings, with every other weekend rotation; call is not required.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Possession of a valid Registered Nurse license issued by the State of Minnesota.
Nice To Haves
- Certification in the area of clinical specialty.
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred and strongly encouraged. Advancement in academic education will be discussed as part of individual professional development during the annual performance review.
