Nurse Staff RN- LH Battery Plant (FT) Days
About The Position
The Staff Nurse, RN provides professional nursing care by applying nursing skills and processes to develop, implement, and evaluate patients’ plans of care. As the primary caregiver, the nurse provides direct patient care and collaborates with other care team members, physicians, and patients and families to achieve optimal patient outcomes. The role involves access to confidential patient information and independent decision-making as well as decision-making in collaboration with others. The position is based at the LH Battery Plant in Washington Courthouse and is full-time, 36 hours per week, on days. The Staff Nurse works under the direct supervision of the Nurse Manager and indirect supervision of the Director of Nursing.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care using nursing skills and processes.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate patient plans of care.
- Provide direct patient care as the primary caregiver.
- Collaborate with care team members, physicians, patients, and families to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Make decisions independently and in collaboration with others while handling confidential patient information.
