Staff Nurse (RN) - Burn

About The Position
The Staff Nurse (RN) works in the Burn Center within Hennepin Healthcare System’s Patient and Family Centered Care model. Under general supervision, the registered nurse provides and coordinates nursing care. The position is 0.75 FTE (60 hours per pay period), with five shifts per pay period. Shifts are 12 hours and may be days or nights, with a weekend rotation every third weekend.
Requirements
- Two years of recent professional nursing (RN) experience in an inpatient Med/Surg setting.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Possession of a valid Registered Nurse license issued by the State of Minnesota.
- Must be telemetry competent within six months of hire into the role.
- Must successfully complete ICU/PICU training.
Nice To Haves
- ICU or Burn experience is strongly preferred.
- Certification in an area of clinical specialty.
- A BSN is preferred; a Bachelor of Nursing degree is strongly encouraged.
