Staff Nurse (RN) - Inpatient Medicine

About The Position
Within the context of the Hennepin Healthcare System Patient and Family Centered Care model, and under general supervision, the registered nurse provides and coordinates nursing care. The position is in Inpatient Medicine and is scheduled for 0.8 FTE (64 hours per pay period), with eight shifts per pay period. Shifts are eight hours and include days and evenings, with an every-other-weekend rotation. Call is not required.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Possession of a valid Registered Nurse license issued by the State of Minnesota.
Nice To Haves
- Certification in the area of clinical specialty.
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred; advancement in academic education is strongly encouraged and will be discussed as part of individual professional development during the annual performance review.
