About The Position
Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital is seeking an experienced nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join its pediatric emergency medicine program. The position provides care to a diverse pediatric patient population across Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital's main campus, Memorial Miramar Pediatric Emergency Department, and Memorial Hospital West Pediatric Emergency Department. The role offers collaboration with pediatric emergency medicine clinicians in a supportive, patient-centered environment, varied clinical experience across multiple pediatric EDs, and flexible scheduling. Shifts vary in length and time, and none are scheduled to extend beyond 1 a.m. Competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package are offered.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of pediatric clinical experience as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant.
- Current Florida license.
- Active DEA registration.
- ACLS certification.
- PALS certification.
Responsibilities

- Work collaboratively with pediatric emergency medicine clinicians.
