Full-Time Staff Nurse (LPN) 11pm - 7am

The Staff Nurse role is at The Blake at Charlottesville. The nurse provides resident care, administers treatment and medication within applicable licensure and state regulations, supports residents’ memory and performance improvement programs, and serves as the shift charge nurse for personal assistants under the direction of the Wellness Leadership team. The position requires flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Requirements
- A caring heart and willingness to serve others.
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license issued by the state.
- Current CPR certification.
- Flexibility and readiness to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Nice To Haves
- Assisted living or long-term care experience.
- Current First Aid certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide medical treatment and administer medication according to physician orders and within the scope of applicable board and state regulations for assisted living.
- Provide care and service to residents while remaining flexible and adapting to change.
- Assist residents with memory and performance improvement programs.
- Work independently with minimal direct supervision and collaboratively with a team to make decisions, organize and prioritize tasks, document clearly, and follow through on assignments.
- Serve as charge nurse on shift for personal assistants under the direction of the Wellness Leadership team.
