Staff Inpatient Pharmacist
About The Position
The Inpatient Staff Pharmacist reviews and verifies medication orders, conducts clinical reviews and therapeutic monitoring, completes pharmacy consults, and provides drug information to clinical staff. The role performs centralized pharmacy operational tasks for Inpatient and hospital Ancillary departments, including final product verification and dispensing of sterile and non-sterile compounded drug products and hazardous drugs. The pharmacist supervises and directs pharmacy technicians, interns, and support personnel. The position is scheduled for 40 hours per week. The listed schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and Saturday, Sunday, and holidays, 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Rotating second- and third-shift coverage is required.
Requirements
- Current pharmacist licensure in good standing in the State of Ohio.
- Graduation from an accredited School of Pharmacy.
- Doctor of Pharmacy degree or equivalent Bachelor of Science degree.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS provider certifications.
