About The Position

Provides pharmaceutical care to patients in the expanding, Saint Alphonsus Nampa Medical Center. This role involves ensuring the accuracy of documenting services and supplies provided to patients, reviewing patient history to provide adequate education for optimum outcomes, and preparing pharmaceutical products using safe and cost-effective methods. The position also includes participation in departmental duties such as material resource management, clerical and financial responsibilities, and safety issues. Additionally, the Inpatient Pharmacist will supervise technicians and pharmacy support staff.

Requirements

Doctor of Pharmacy or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy required.
Must be licensed as a Pharmacist with the Idaho State Board of Pharmacy.

Nice To Haves

Residency preferred.
Six months of hospital, inpatient experience preferred.

Participates in various departmental duties; material resource management, clerical and financial responsibilities, safety, and other issues.
Supervises technicians and pharmacy support staff.
Excellent communication skills.
Adaptable to institutional roles and schedules.
