Staff Inpatient Pharmacist
About The Position
The Inpatient Staff Pharmacist reviews and verifies medication orders, conducts clinical reviews and therapeutic monitoring, completes pharmacy consults, and provides drug information to clinical staff. The pharmacist performs centralized pharmacy operational tasks for Inpatient and hospital Ancillary departments, including final product verification and dispensing of sterile and non-sterile compounded drug products and hazardous drugs. The role supervises and directs pharmacy technicians, interns, and support personnel. The schedule includes Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.; Saturday, Sunday, and holidays, 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.; and rotating second- and third-shift coverage. The position is 40 hours per week.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Pharmacist in good standing in the State of Ohio.
- Graduation from an accredited School of Pharmacy.
- Doctor of Pharmacy degree or equivalent Bachelor of Science degree.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS provider certifications.
