About the position
In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead and coordinate a team of health data analysts in designing and deploying scalable products for healthcare plans and providers. You will also participate in the development of industry accepted healthcare data models and rules-based engines, as well as automate and optimize data pipelines with a focus on logical transformations and statistical models. Additionally, you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing data pipelines using big data technologies.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coordinate, and train health data analysts in design and deployment of scalable products for healthcare plans and providers
- Participate in the development of industry accepted healthcare data models and rules-based engines
- Automate and optimize data pipelines with a focus on logical transformations and statistical models
- Build, maintain and optimize data pipelines using big data technologies
Requirements
- 10+ years of technical software development experience using Python, Spark, SQL, Git Integration, and testing frameworks
- Domain experience working with healthcare data and a passion for shaping the healthcare industry
- Experience in building production-hardened data pipelines with a focus on performance, scalability, reliability, and repeatability using orc
