Staff Frontend Software Engineer – Management Solution
About The Position
A10 Networks is seeking an experienced Staff Frontend Engineer to design and develop modern user experiences for central management solutions used to manage A10’s infrastructure and security products. The role helps define how customers manage, monitor, automate, and troubleshoot application delivery, security, and infrastructure solutions across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid deployments. The engineer will work closely with Product Management, UX Design, Application Engineering, Platform Engineering, and Quality teams to deliver scalable, responsive, and intuitive management interfaces for complex networking and security workflows. The position contributes to the usability, performance, and adoption of A10’s products, while building reusable UI components and frameworks used across multiple products. The role also includes technical leadership, mentoring, design and code reviews, evaluating frontend technologies, and collaborating with global engineering teams to deliver releases.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent.
- At least 8 years of professional frontend development experience, including experience leading complex web application initiatives.
- Strong expertise in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, React, Redux, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design.
- Knowledge of secure coding guidelines.
- Experience designing and implementing scalable frontend architectures and reusable component frameworks.
- Deep understanding of software design patterns, object-oriented design, and modern web application architecture.
- Strong experience integrating RESTful APIs and microservice-based systems.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and Agile development methodologies.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and technical leadership skills.

Responsibilities
- Enhance the user experience by designing and developing modern web applications for device onboarding and lifecycle management, configuration management and orchestration, ADC, DDoS, CGNAT and security policy management, analytics and reporting, multi-tenancy, cloud and on-premises management, workflow automation, troubleshooting, identity management, and third-party enterprise integrations.
- Build reusable UI components and frameworks for use across multiple A10 products.
- Deliver responsive interfaces capable of managing large-scale deployments and datasets.
- Integrate REST APIs, GraphQL services, streaming telemetry, and microservice-based architectures in collaboration with application and platform teams.
- Collaborate with UX designers to create intuitive workflows for networking and security operations.
- Optimize frontend applications for performance, scalability, accessibility, and usability.
- Drive customer-centric design decisions using data, feedback, and usability studies.
- Ensure consistent experiences across cloud and on-premises products.
- Conduct user experience reviews, design reviews, and code reviews, and provide technical mentoring.
- Evaluate and adopt emerging frontend technologies and engineering practices.
- Collaborate across global engineering teams to deliver high-quality releases.
