About The Position

Frontend Engineers are an essential part of the Deploy Data and Deploy Enterprise products. Working closely with designers, product owners, and other engineers, they implement the user interfaces that define the company’s core platforms. The team uses web technologies such as React, Redux, Webpack, and ES6 to deliver innovative interfaces and rich user experiences. This is a small, fast-moving team where engineers are expected to iterate quickly and make software design decisions on product features. The role offers autonomy and responsibility, with an emphasis on strong technical skills, enthusiasm for frontend technologies, and success in a fast-paced environment. Deploy is an intelligence infrastructure platform that gives developers and enterprises access to open-source and proprietary AI models. Its offerings include optimized model inference for leading open-source LLMs and proprietary models addressing content safety, AI and deepfake detection, sponsorship intelligence, and intellectual property and publicity protection. The company has more than 250 employees across offices in San Francisco, Seattle, New York, and Delhi.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
At least 1 year of experience working in web development.
Experience working with third-party APIs and libraries.
In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related web technologies.
Good grasp of React and Redux, or similar frameworks, and the concepts behind them.
Ability to create appealing web products and good user experience sensibilities.
Eagerness to learn new technologies and share knowledge with teammates.
Receptiveness to feedback and interest in continually sharpening skills.
Excellent communication skills and experience in collaborative environments.
Ability to write understandable, testable code with attention to maintainability and scalability.

Responsibilities

Build secure custom user interfaces using React and JavaScript.
Work with design and product teams to develop new features focused on user experience.
Participate in product decisions and help set reasonable development deadlines.
Identify opportunities to improve team efficiency and work with the team to implement improvements.
Use OWASP Top 10 techniques to secure code from vulnerabilities.
Maintain awareness of industry best practices for data maintenance and handling relevant to the role.
Adhere to policies, guidelines, and procedures for protecting information assets.
Report actual or suspected security and/or policy violations or breaches to an appropriate authority.
