About The Position

BlueDot is recruiting for a confidential contract opportunity supporting water and industrial water projects. The role develops civil site plans, grading, drainage, erosion control, roadways, and underground utilities. Candidates must live within 50 miles of an eligible office in Charlotte, NC; Orlando, FL; or Jacksonville, FL. The schedule is 40 hours per week. The actual start date and assignment schedule will be confirmed during recruitment. Employment is through an employer of record, and client details are shared privately during the recruitment process.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant civil engineering technician experience.
• Diploma or certificate.
• Experience with Civil 3D grading and MicroStation.
• Residence within 50 miles of an eligible office.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree in drafting or an engineering design technology.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and modify civil site development drawings.
• Apply Civil 3D grading workflows and MicroStation to project deliverables.
• Coordinate design inputs and drawing quality with engineering teams.
