About The Position

LTK is seeking a Staff Engineer to strengthen technical leadership on the Brand team. Staff Engineers lead architecture, technical direction, and execution for strategic, complex, and business-critical initiatives. The role partners with product, design, data, and platform teams to solve high-impact problems and ensure the platform reliably supports evolving business needs. As a senior technical leader, the Staff Engineer brings clarity to ambiguous initiatives, establishes durable patterns across teams, and maintains the overall health of the Brand platform. The role expands technical-leadership coverage across Brand while helping LTK deliver reliable, scalable experiences for Brands and Creators. This position is remote from the U.S.

Requirements

8+ years of software engineering experience, including significant experience leading the architecture and delivery of complex, distributed systems.
Demonstrated success as a Staff Engineer, Principal Engineer, or equivalent senior technical leader across multiple teams or domains.
Strong systems-design skills and ability to make pragmatic architectural tradeoffs involving performance, reliability, security, scalability, and developer experience.
Experience leading high-impact initiatives requiring coordination across engineering, product, design, data, and platform partners.
Track record of turning ambiguous product and business problems into clear technical strategies and executable plans.
Strong communication skills and ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders without direct authority.
Ability and willingness to mentor engineers and develop technical leadership across teams.

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership across the Brand platform and lead strategic, complex, and business-critical initiatives.
Define and evolve architecture for complex, cross-team product and platform initiatives.
Lead technical strategy, decomposition, and execution of critical projects from discovery through delivery.
Partner with product, design, data, and platform teams to align technical decisions with customer, platform-health, and business outcomes.
Establish scalable patterns, APIs, and system boundaries that help teams move quickly while improving reliability and maintainability.
Identify and reduce technical risks, dependencies, and operational complexity before they constrain delivery.
Raise the engineering bar through design reviews, code reviews, technical coaching, and mentorship.
Maintain platform health by strengthening observability, quality practices, operational readiness, and cross-team execution.
Translate ambiguous business needs into clear technical direction, practical milestones, and durable solutions.
