About The Position
This is an application to join the Dragonfly talent network, not a listing for an internal role at Dragonfly. Dragonfly is actively sourcing for Staff Engineers across multiple portfolio companies. These are high-ownership, hands-on roles for engineers who want to be close to the code and architecture. The roles involve end-to-end ownership across product, infra, and architecture, working directly with founders and small teams with no layers or bureaucracy. Engineers will ship fast, iterate, and have a real say in technical direction, building AI-native features, integrations, and systems from the ground up. Several teams are specifically looking for engineering leaders who want to return to being hands-on individual contributors. Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with a track record of end-to-end ownership
- AI-forward mindset, you build with and on top of AI as a core part of your workflow, not an afterthought
- Full-stack capability with comfort owning architecture, infrastructure, and deployment
- Experience shipping production systems at scale with real users and real stakes
- Strong technical instincts, you push for simpler designs, good observability, and strong engineering culture
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity and moving fast in early-stage environments
