About The Position

This role involves preparing and developing test program definitions, creating and integrating test programs with equipment, debugging, validating, documenting, and releasing them according to company standards. The position also includes managing and improving existing test software, performing testing, analyzing data, and reporting on manufacturing issues. The engineer will be expected to troubleshoot test program issues, ensure timely deliveries, and communicate status updates. Compliance with test program procedures, technical documentation, and release to production are key. The role also involves evaluating and qualifying new test platforms and technologies to enhance productivity, and collaborating with design engineers on design-for-test (DFT) features. Additionally, the engineer will receive and implement new test solutions from R&D projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering
  • Working experience with Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) testing semiconductors (MOSFET, IGBTS, Diodes, mixed signal ICs, etc)
  • Sound test programming skills and experienced programming in LabVIEW and C/C++
  • Hands-on experience with electronic lab equipment, making bench electrical measurements using signal generators, oscilloscopes, and spectrum analyzers
  • Familiar with burn-in stress testing environment (HTGB, HTRB)
  • Strong in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and teamwork
  • Familiar with problem solving methodologies (Ischikawa,8D,5Ws,etc) as well as Statistical Data Analysis software (JMP, Minitab).
  • Demonstrated strong verbal, written communication, reporting, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and develop test program definition for both wafer probe and final package level test
  • Create test programs and plans, integrate with test equipment and hardware, debug, validate, document, and release per company standards and procedures
  • Manage, maintain and improve the quality of existing test software solutions in production environment including test platform transfer on ATE infrastructures
  • Perform testing, compile, analyze, and create test data reports for review, identification and resolution of manufacturing and production issues.
  • Able to deep-dive technically and debug test programs issues to ensure timely deliveries and able to communicate at all levels to provide written or verbal status updates
  • Ensure compliance to test program procedures, develop and maintain technical documentation and releases to production
  • Evaluate and qualify new test platform and handler technologies, and other tools to enhance productivity and processes
  • Work with design and concept development engineers to incorporate design-for-test (DFT) features into new products to ensure quality at a low cost of test.
  • Receive, sign off, and implement new test solution from R&D projects
