Requirements

8+ years of software engineering experience.
Expert-level Java development experience (Java 17/21 preferred).
Strong experience with Spring Boot and RESTful APIs.
Experience building distributed, event-driven applications.
Hands-on experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus, or similar messaging technologies.
Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP cloud platforms.
Strong knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases, performance tuning, and debugging.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and modern CI/CD practices.
Passion for mentoring engineers and leading by example.
Strong AI adoption mindset with experience using AI tools to accelerate software development.

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership for an agile engineering team.
Design, develop, and deliver scalable Java applications using Java 17/21 and SpringBoot.
Build cloud-native, distributed, and event-driven solutions.
Lead technical design discussions and perform high-quality code reviews.
Mentor engineers and promote engineering best practices.
Drive AI-assisted software development to improve quality and productivity.
Troubleshoot complex production issues and improve system reliability and performance.
Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps, and Architecture teams to deliver customer value.
