About The Position

The Staff Development Generalist coordinates all aspects of new employee orientation, working with Human Resources and department managers, preparing and presenting orientation content, arranging room reservations and catering with Dietary and Environmental Services, and assisting Payroll with obtaining biometric scans. The position schedules trainings for existing staff throughout the calendar year and maintains the hospital’s status as an American Heart Association Training Center. It also coordinates student affiliation agreements and placements for graduate-level students.

Requirements

Minimum 2–5 years of experience in hospital education, administrative support, or clinical work.
Ability to demonstrate skills as a CPR instructor.
High school diploma required.

Bachelor’s degree preferred.
