About The Position

Maple Crest Health Center, part of American Baptist Homes of the Midwest, is seeking a Staff Development Coordinator / Infection Prevention Nurse for their Omaha, NE location. This role offers competitive pay starting at $47.00/hr plus credit for experience. The position is full-time, working a day shift from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm with a weekend rotation. Requirements

• Active RN license (required)
• Infection Control Certification or IPC training (required)
• Current CPR certification
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain confidentiality

Nice To Haves

• 1+ year of leadership or long-term care experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead staff education, orientation, and ongoing training programs
• Support and coach nursing staff to improve performance and care quality
• Ensure compliance with training, regulatory, and documentation standards
• Oversee infection prevention and control program and initiatives
• Monitor infection trends, conduct audits, and implement improvements
• Provide education on infection control, safety, and best practices
• Collaborate with leadership to support quality care and regulatory compliance
