About The Position

Clinica Sierra Vista is seeking a Staff Dentist to provide patient care and support dental disease prevention and community education. Working with the Dental Director, the dentist helps develop an effective patient and community education and prevention program while providing routine clinical services. The role is primarily focused on chairside patient care, with prevention kept as an ongoing goal.

The Staff Dentist provides diagnostic, preventive, emergency, restorative, maintenance, prosthetic, and oral surgery services. The position also contributes to standards and planning for oral health services, supervises dental staff, represents the clinic in professional-group meetings, and may perform other work-related duties. Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic dental services.
• Provide preventive dental services.
• Provide emergency dental services.
• Provide complete restorative services.
• Provide maintenance therapy.
• Provide prosthetic therapy.
• Provide oral surgery.
• Work with the Dental Director to develop patient and community education and dental disease prevention programs.
• Assist in establishing standards for oral health services and developing an organizational plan to carry out activities.
• Learn to use provided techniques and methods appropriately.
• Supervise dental staff.
• Represent the clinic in meetings of professional groups.
• Perform other work-related duties as needed.

• $170,000–$195,000 base salary, commensurate with experience
