About The Position
The Data Center Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining enterprise data center operations to ensure the reliability, efficiency, scalability, and security of business‑critical infrastructure.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of overall data center experience.
- At least 2 years in a Data Center Administrator role.
- Hands-on experience in enterprise‑scale environments.
- Hands-on experience with racking and stacking enterprise server hardware, storage platforms, and virtualization technologies.
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and firewall concepts.
- Experience using data center monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, SolarWinds).
- Basic scripting or automation with PowerShell or Python.
Nice To Haves
- Proven problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills in production environments.
- Industry certifications such as CompTIA Server+, Cisco CCNA, or VMware VCP are preferred.
