About The Position

Cribl is seeking an Analytics Lead to help evolve its data organization into a product-led enablement engine. The role acts as an internal data consultant and product owner, working dynamically across business units such as GTM, People, and Finance. The successful candidate will take on ambiguous, complex business challenges and design self-serve data solutions that drive action, owning the internal stakeholder Data UX and focusing deeply on two or three named functions. This position combines strategic business partnership with hands-on data expertise. It involves translating complex analyses into audience-specific narratives, treating analytics as a product, framing ambiguous questions as defined requirements, and owning analytical work end-to-end. The role also provides strategic guidance on marketing data, including campaign performance, lead tracking, attribution, and funnel analytics. Cribl is remote-first, with work spanning multiple time zones; occasional duties outside standard working hours may be required.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of experience in analytics, data, or a related role, including direct partnership with senior business leaders.
  • Deep knowledge of GTM commercial drivers and hands-on experience in marketing analytics, such as attribution, campaign measurement, and funnel analysis.
  • Ability to learn adjacent business functions quickly.
  • Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with the modern data stack, including Snowflake and dbt, and BI tools with semantic layers.
  • Experience building or directing predictive models, such as propensity or churn models, and experiments, and judging when their output is sufficient to act on.
  • A track record of presenting analysis to executives that influenced a decision.
  • Strong written communication skills, including the ability to turn analysis into a concise memo that a leader can act on without a meeting.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities across stakeholders and decline requests with a clear reason.

Responsibilities

  • Translate complex analyses into clear, compelling narratives tailored to different audiences to drive decisions.
  • Treat analytics as a product by learning user needs, prioritizing work by impact, maintaining a shared plan, and producing decision-ready analyses.
  • Turn ambiguous questions into defined requirements and own analytics end-to-end.
  • Partner strategically with cross-functional stakeholders, align analytical priorities, influence decisions, and bring clarity to complex business challenges.
  • Leverage AI tools strategically to enhance analytical capabilities, improve efficiency, and drive innovation.
  • Serve as the data team's subject matter expert on marketing data, providing guidance on campaign performance, lead tracking, attribution, and funnel analytics.
  • Design self-serve data solutions and own the internal stakeholder Data UX, focusing deeply on two or three named functions.
  • Manage competing stakeholder priorities and decline requests with a clear rationale.
