As a Staff Bioinformatics Scientist, you will lead efforts to ensure pipeline accuracy and reliability, guaranteeing high-quality and consistent results for our patients.

Requirements

Masters with 5+ years of relevant experience or PhD with 3+ years of relevant experience
Hands-on experience with analyzing DNA sequencing data
Coding and/or data analysis experience in Python
Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
A willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges to drive tasks to completion

Nice To Haves

Subject matter knowledge in clinical genomics
Experience across multiple -omics technologies (e.g. WES, WGS, RNA-seq, proteomics)
Experience in a regulated environment (e.g. CLIA/CAP, FDA)

Responsibilities

Develop new bioinformatics capabilities to expand use cases and drive volume
Work cross-functionally with engineering, lab, quality, and clinical teams to launch new science products
Support operations by evaluating and triaging bioinformatics data underlying clinical variant calls
Oversee bioinformatics operations, including developing tools and methods to identify and track key metrics
Develop, maintain, and document clinical analytical validations
