The Staff Assistant will perform a wide variety of office and clerical duties of moderate complexity. This position is distinguished from clerical positions such as a Receptionist or Administrative Assistant by its more varied and assorted document preparation and administrative duties in support of the business office operations. Staff Assistant may performing various administrative, secretarial and clerical duties. Understands and follows the organization's policies, procedures and standards. Is an independent worker, meeting the day-to-day needs.
