About The Position
Under the supervision and direction of the Controller, the Staff Accountant performs various accounting functions and miscellaneous accounting duties. The role applies accounting, record-keeping, and analysis principles to maintain the Hospital’s general accounting systems and financial reporting, and assists the Controller with projects as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or another related field.
- Experience with mainframe computer systems and PC-based systems.
- Proficiency with Excel spreadsheets and Word documents.
Nice To Haves
- Two years of accounting experience with Hospital/Healthcare experience preferred.
