About The Position
Join our Finance team as a Staff Accountant supporting expense accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, and budget-related activities. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience may also be considered
- Foundational accounting knowledge, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Internship, coursework, or early professional experience in accounting, finance, or bookkeeping is a plus
- Strong Excel skills and comfort learning new systems and processes
- Detail-oriented, dependable, and willing to ask questions and learn from others
Nice To Haves
- Experience with SAP or similar accounting systems is helpful, but not required
Responsibilities
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and expense reports with accuracy and attention to detail
- Help analyze company expenses and support financial reporting across departments and business areas
- Research variances and discrepancies and partner with team members to resolve issues
- Assist with budgeting activities, expense reviews, and planning for future budget cycles
- Support intercompany accounting processes and other month-end close responsibilities
- Collaborate with Finance and Accounting teammates on process improvements and special projects
