About The Position

AQFS is a rapidly growing company looking for a team player to join our fast-paced environment. This is a very busy department, so the ability to multitask is extremely important. The ideal candidate must be well-organized and very detailed. Salary: $70,000 – $90,000 based on experience.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience or recent graduates with a focus in accounting or finance encouraged to apply
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in accounting or business preferred or equivalent accounting experience
• Proficient with data entry and attention to detail and accuracy
• Efficient and effective communication and organizational skills
• Proficient in Excel
• Analytical & customer service mindset
• Recognizes urgency in solving problems and completing critical work

Responsibilities

• Reports to Chief Financial Officer/Controller
• Support the Controller in accounting duties and financial reporting
• Assist with day-to-day accounts payable and receivable
• Assist with payroll and ensuring accuracy
• Assist with month-end reporting, reconciliations, and filings
• Assist with year-end reporting and filings
• Deposit checks, maintain cash receipts and bank deposits
• Prepare general ledger entries including month-end accrual journal entries
• Assist with audits and financial documentation
• Misc. tasks as provided by Controller/CFO
