About The Position

The Staff Accountant supports the day-to-day financial operations of the organization by maintaining accurate financial records and assisting with key accounting processes. This role is responsible for preparing and posting journal entries, reconciling accounts, and supporting the month-end close through analysis and documentation of key accounts. The Staff Accountant also assists with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, sales tax processes and reporting, and fleet-related entries. Working closely with the accounting team, this individual contributes to finance-related projects, process improvements, and ad hoc reporting needs while communicating with Branches to ensure accurate financial information and operational alignment. The ideal candidate brings a solid understanding of accounting principles, strong attention to detail, proficiency in Excel and accounting systems, and the ability to analyze and clearly communicate financial information while managing multiple priorities.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of accounting experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles, including debits and credits.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
