About The Position

The Staffing Account role is a broad accounting position focused on supporting both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, assisting with month-end accounting activities, tax reporting, reconciliations, and compliance tasks. The ideal candidate will be flexible, collaborative, and willing to assist outside of their direct responsibilities. This position is hands-on and operational, supporting day-to-day financial processes that keep the business running smoothly.

Requirements

Strong computer proficiency with the ability to quickly learn and navigate accounting and business software systems
Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to ensure accuracy in financial processes and reporting
Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers, vendors, and internal teams

Responsibilities

Vouching invoices and performing the 3-way match
Calculation and completion of use tax reports. Validating monthly, quarterly & yearly use tax charges and preparing journal entry, along with updating monthly rate changes
Prepare reporting of 1099’s
Working aged balances from the received not invoiced file
Assist with preparing monthly and quarterly manufacturing census reports
Apply cash receipts from deposits and wire/ACH payments
Provide A/R statements to customers with past due balances
Make collection calls/faxes/emails to customers with past due balances and provide additional invoices and take any necessary escalation steps to resolve delinquent accounts
Prepare lien wavier releases
Assist with month-end close for A/P and A/R modules and prepare journal entries
Preparing the monthly account reconciliations and their respective supporting documents
Assist in the preparation of various reporting spreadsheets for tax or other government agencies
