About The Position

Genesis Global Group (GGG) is a dynamic and diversified global group with strategic investments and operating entities across dynamic sectors including biotechnology, hospitality, real-estate investments & development, manufacturing, and healthcare. Our corporate Accounting & Finance function is a central hub of excellence, comprised of CPAs and seasoned professionals. We are seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to serve as a cornerstone of our finance team. In this role, you will own the full spectrum of accounting operations across multiple entities, from day-to-day transactions to executive-level reporting, while acting as a trusted financial partner to HR, operations, and leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum of 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Proven experience managing accounting functions across multiple entities
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems
• Strong working knowledge of payroll, tax compliance, and financial reporting
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with executive leadership

Nice To Haves

• CPA preferred
• CPA is required

Responsibilities

• Manage Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and collections team
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Lead annual budgeting process in collaboration with department heads
• Develop rolling forecasts and cash flow projections
• Manage year-end close with audit coordination across multiple companies
• Ensure accurate, timely filing of corporate tax obligations and monthly/quarterly sales and use tax returns, maintaining full compliance across all operating entities
• Act as the primary liaison with State auditors, providing well-organized documentation and clear financial presentation
• Identify and drive process improvements that increase efficiency and accuracy
• Support ad-hoc accounting project as needed
