About The Position

The Staff Accountant will support month-end close activities, including preparing journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations with proper documentation. This role involves analyzing financial results, performing variance analysis, and explaining key drivers, trends, and anomalies. The accountant will maintain and reconcile Product Support-related accounts, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and audit-ready documentation. Additionally, the position assists with expense reimbursements, ensures compliance with company policies and internal controls, and prepares supporting schedules and reports for management review. Collaboration with the Accounting Manager on adjustments and inquiries is expected. The role requires ensuring adherence to internal controls, escalating discrepancies, and maintaining accurate records within the ERP system. Cross-functional collaboration, responding to internal inquiries, and providing backup support are also key aspects of this position.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field required
  • 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience in a corporate or similar environment
  • Familiarity with financial audits, internal controls, and reconciliation best practices
  • Solid understanding of intermediate accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and corporate accounting procedures
  • Experience working with general ledger systems and ERP platforms
  • Proficiency in account reconciliation processes and maintaining clear, accurate documentation
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to support audits and investigate discrepancies
