About The Position

Seeking an Accountant with General Ledger knowledge to support the Finance function, corporate reporting, and overall operations of AT-RISK.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of accounting experience
• Associate degree in Accounting required
• Extensive knowledge of accruals, schedule creation and maintenance
• Solid communications skills (oral & written)
• Excellent analytical skills
• Working knowledge of general ledger systems (Sage Intacct, Quickbooks, or comparable program preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.). Must have expertise using Pivot Tables, Conditional Sum, V-Lookup functions, etc.
• Experience in collaborative professional environment
• Ability to tackle tasks independently

Nice To Haves

• bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform General Ledger accounting and reporting of financial and operational activity.
• Play a critical role in the monthly close, ensuring ownership over assigned areas.
• Maintain various schedules including prepaid expenses, fixed assets, etc. while reviewing and approving related transactions.
• Assist with preparation of journal entries for general ledger reconciliation.
• Accounts payable, cash, and other account reconciliations.
• Manage Accounts Receivable entry and reconciliation process.
• Ensure account reconciliations are prepared and reviewed in a timely manner.
• Assist with monthly management reporting and analysis of financial results.
• Support budget creation and variance analysis.
• Retrieve corporate mail and process for further action.
