About The Position
The Muransky Companies is a premier, family-owned multifaceted organization based in Boardman, Ohio. We manage a diverse portfolio of brands, including Southwoods Health, Chestnut Land Company (Auntie Anne’s and Cinnabon), The Lake Club, and Ivory&birch. We are looking for a motivated Entry Level Staff Accountant to join our corporate Accounting and Finance team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required).
- Solid understanding of GAAP and general cost accounting principles.
- High level of organization and extreme attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional demeanor.
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements, track company assets, and liabilities.
- Perform general cost accounting and internal audits of large volumes of data to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in gathering and analyzing general ledger data.
- Prepare year-end work papers for external tax accountants.
- Maintain ethical standards and strict confidentiality regarding company data.
- Collaborate professionally with vendors, coworkers, and department leadership.
