Staff Accountant (Direct Hire)

TES Staffing is supporting a wholesale beverage distributor that supplies a wide range of beer, wine, and non-alcoholic products to retailers, bars, and restaurants. Requirements
- 1–3 years of accounting experience (flexible for the right person)
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables are a big plus)
- Understanding of accounting fundamentals
- A self-starter who asks questions and communicates openly
- Someone who thrives in a collaborative, open-office environment
- Positive attitude, team-first mindset, and willingness to learn
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree preferred—but strong candidates with an Associate’s or equivalent experience will absolutely be considered
Responsibilities
- Maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts
- Reviewing and coding invoices (AP) and supporting payment processes
- Reconciling bank accounts and financial records
- Assisting with month-end close activities
- Supporting audits and gathering financial documentation
- Filing tax forms (state, local, and federal)
- Collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to resolve discrepancies
