Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience as a Staff Accountant or in a relevant role.

  • Transportation or Manufacturing industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness in recording financial transactions.
  • Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents.
  • Support the month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Analyze financial statements for discrepancies and variances.
  • Assist in the compilation of data for financial analysis.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
  • Assist and support external auditors during annual audits.
  • Prepare audit schedules and provide necessary documentation.
  • Collaborate with other departments to obtain relevant financial information.
  • Provide financial expertise and support to various teams within the organization.
