Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent experience
  • 1-3 years of progressive accounting experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Excel (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, data organization, and reporting)
  • Strong technical and analytical skills
  • Time management and multi-tasking ability
  • Detail-oriented
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work with a team
  • You are a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident or possess other unrestricted U.S. work authorization and will not require sponsorship for U.S. work authorization now or anytime in the future.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed monthly bank reconciliations in Oracle
  • Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations with strong attention to detail and a focus on accuracy and completeness
  • Assist with revenue reconciliations and support the accuracy of advisor billing, fee calculations, and related reporting
  • Support month-end close activities, ensuring assigned deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule
  • Proactively review general ledger transaction details throughout the month to streamline month-end close timelines, and ensure the accuracy and completeness of information recorded
  • Independently resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities
  • Identify trends, opportunities, and risks, and recommend actions to enhance financial performance
  • Analyze actual results across multiple reporting segments and provide explanations for variances to plan and prior year
  • Support annual financial audits, ensuring all audit requirements and inquiries are met in a timely and accurate manner
  • Propose improvements to internal controls to mitigate risks and maintain compliance
  • Assist in streamlining financial processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial data, revenue reporting, and information flow across the organization
