About The Position

Holman Upfitting in Bartlett, IL is seeking a Staff Accountant to support account reconciliations, cash forecasting, month-end close activities, financial reporting, fixed asset controls, and other accounting functions as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• 1-3 years of accounting, finance, or related experience
• Experience with account reconciliations and financial analysis
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail when working with large amounts of data
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain account reconciliations, including bank reconciliations
• Complete daily cash forecasting activities and communicate updates as needed
• Support month-end close and financial reporting processes
• Maintain fixed asset records and controls
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Prepare ad hoc financial reports and analyses
• Assist with special projects and other accounting-related duties as assigned
