As our Staff Accountant, you’ll be the financial engine that keeps our operations running clean, our records audit-ready, and our leadership armed with accurate data. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience preferred; recent graduates encouraged to apply
  • Solid understanding of GAAP fundamentals and financial reporting principles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with above-average Excel skills
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to balance accuracy and timeliness under deadline
  • Clear communicator — comfortable working with vendors, colleagues, and leadership at all levels
  • Proactive problem-solver who identifies issues and finds solutions without being asked

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, or a similar ERP system
  • Familiarity with event production, hospitality, or service-industry accounting environments
  • Progress toward or interest in CPA licensure

Responsibilities

  • Own the month-end close process — recording, reconciling, and reporting with accuracy and on time
  • Prepare monthly account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies before they become problems
  • Reconcile vendor statements and review expense reports for policy compliance
  • Prepare aging reports and AP/AR analysis to keep leadership informed
  • Partner with operations, project management, and other teams to ensure invoices are properly coded and approved
  • Support internal and external audits with clear documentation and timely responses
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and special projects as directed by the Controller
