Staff Accountant

About The Position
We’re looking for a detail-driven, adaptable Staff Accountant to support day-to-day finance operations across AP, AR, payroll, and GL. This role is critical in keeping workflows moving, providing coverage during absences, and supporting a growing multi-entity business.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1–3 years of accounting experience (manufacturing or multi-entity preferred)
- Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals
- Proficiency in Excel (vlookups, pivot tables)
- Experience with AP, AR, or payroll
- Highly detail-oriented with strong follow-through
- Team-first mindset and ability to shift priorities quickly
Nice To Haves
- ERP/accounting system experience (QuickBooks or similar)
- Experience in a lean, cross-functional environment
Responsibilities
- Support AP & AR (invoices, payments, cash application, collections)
- Assist with payroll and credit card reconciliations as needed
- Own routine vendor and MRO accounts
- Help with journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close
- Maintain balance sheet schedules (prepaids, accruals, fixed assets)
- Support multiple entities with transactional accounting needs
- Document processes and identify opportunities for automation
- Step in as backup support across finance functions
