About The Position

As a Staff Accountant, you will play a key role in the accuracy and integrity of the company's financial reporting. You will be responsible for performing complex accounting tasks, supporting month-end and year-end close processes, and assisting with financial analysis. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
2+ years of progressive accounting experience required
Strong understanding of GAAP and general corporate accounting practices
Advanced proficiency in Excel; comfortable with large data sets and complex formulas

Nice To Haves

CPA certification preferred (active or in progress)
Experience with NetSuite (ERP) and Salesforce preferred
Experience with accounting for payroll companies is a plus

Responsibilities

Perform and review general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
Support the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close process to ensure timely and accurate results
Prepare journal entries, accruals, amortizations, and other required adjustments
Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts
Assist with the preparation of financial statements and internal reporting packages
Support external audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and responses to auditor inquiries
Partner with cross-functional teams, including FP&A, Operations, and Sales to provide financial insight
Identify opportunities to improve processes, strengthen controls, and enhance accounting accuracy
Assist with implementing new accounting policies, systems, and tools as needed
All other duties as assigned
