About The Position

Andretti Indoor Karting & Games is seeking a Staff Accountant to join the Team in Marietta, GA! This is a full-time, salaried role, based in-office at the Marietta Corporate support center. The Staff Accountant is responsible for involvement in the payable process, both working in the AP function as well as working with staff accountants and supporting Senior Management at the AIKG accounting office. The Staff Accountant at AIKG generally includes receiving, processing, and verifying invoices, tracking and recording purchase orders, and processing payments in MS D365 Business Central and the Coupa platform. All positions are responsible for following Andretti Indoor Karting and Games high standards of quality, professionalism and guest satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • At least 18 years of age
  • High School Diploma
  • 3-5 Years Staff Accounting experience
  • Basic accounting principles knowledge, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, data entry and analysis
  • Strong knowledge of applicable accounts payable/general ledger systems and procedures, financial chart of accounts and corporate procedures.
  • Detail oriented, professional attitude, a reliable problem solver and self-starter

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Coupa platform
  • Experience with Microsoft D365 Business Central
  • BS degree, or specialized certificate in accounting

Responsibilities

  • Utilize the Coupa platform extensively to process incoming invoices for approval
  • Support 3-4 locations and work closely with those General Managers
  • GL strip for P&L's
  • Process 3-way P.O. matching invoices
  • Apply payments
  • Audit and process credit card bills
  • Respond to vendor inquiries
  • Reconcile vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies
  • Assist in month end closing, including reconciling across multiple systems
  • Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices
  • Assist with other finance/accounting projects as needed
  • Work as a team player in meeting the organizations business needs and communicating & assisting other departments when needed
  • Attend all required department and company meetings and training sessions
