About The Position

I’m looking for an experienced accountant to join our team and take ownership of our financial records. If you have a strong background in US healthcare accounting and know how to keep the books accurate, compliant, and strictly organized, I want to hear from you. I need someone who can jump right in to manage our daily financial data and provide clear insights to our management team.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of proven experience in US healthcare accounting
• A strong understanding of core accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficiency in Sage Intacct (this is highly preferred)
• Excellent analytical skills and a sharp attention to detail
• A self-motivated mindset with strong time management abilities

Responsibilities

• Handle general bookkeeping tasks and keep our records accurate and organized
• Perform bank, credit card, and other account reconciliations
• Research and resolve any accounting discrepancies that pop up
• Carry out internal audits and reviews to ensure we are staying compliant with our internal policies
• Review and categorize expenses to make sure they align with our budget and financial guidelines
• Prepare monthly financial reports for our management team and stakeholders
• Process payroll chargebacks and other pertinent transactions
• Post daily expenses and manage financial entries
• Support additional accounting functions and tackle ad hoc projects as assigned them
