About The Position

m2winc.org is a growing CPA firm specializing in small business accounting and tax services for dental and veterinary practices nationwide. We are seeking a Senior Accountant / Tax Accountant with 3–6 years of public accounting experience who enjoys working directly with business owners and delivering high-quality accounting and tax services. Requirements

3–6 years of public accounting experience
Strong background in small business accounting and taxation
Experience with S Corporations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Detail-oriented, organized, and deadline-driven
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Comfortable using cloud-based accounting software
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required)
Public accounting: 3 years (Required)

Nice To Haves

CPA license (preferred, not required)
Master’s in Taxation (a plus)
UltraTax / Thomson Reuters
QuickBooks Online

Responsibilities

Prepare and review small business tax returns, primarily S Corporations and owner returns
Review bookkeeping and accounting records for accuracy
Prepare tax projections and assist with tax planning
Research federal and state tax issues
Communicate accounting and tax matters clearly to clients
Manage multiple client engagements and deadlines
Collaborate with Client Managers and firm Partners
