Staff Accountant II

Fifteen Group Capital, LLCMiami, FL
Onsite

About The Position

Fifteen Group Capital LLC is a Miami-based real estate private investment firm with a sharp focus on opportunity-driven, value-added acquisitions across multifamily, commercial, and mixed-use assets in Florida, Texas, and the broader Sunbelt. We are not a large institution — we are a lean, high-performing team of investment professionals who move quickly, think creatively, and build lasting value in markets where others see complexity. Our portfolio spans multiple entities, properties, and operating companies, and our Finance & Accounting team sits at the center of it all — providing the financial infrastructure that supports every acquisition decision, capital deployment, and asset management initiative we undertake. If you are looking for a role where your work is visible, your contributions matter, and there is a clear path to grow, this is it. We are looking for a Staff Accountant II to join our Miami headquarters and become a key member of our Finance & Accounting team. In this role, you will work directly with our Controller to manage general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and month-end close across a dynamic multi-entity real estate portfolio. This is a hands-on role with real responsibility from day one — you will own your accounts, build your expertise across multiple entities, and have direct visibility into the financial operations of an active investment firm. This is an on-site position. We work collaboratively, move fast, and believe in building a team that shows up together. If you thrive in a structured but entrepreneurial environment, enjoy variety, and want to work on a portfolio that is always growing, we would love to meet you.

  • CPA candidacy or active CPA license is a strong plus.
  • Strong working knowledge of GAAP and its practical application across multiple entities.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to getting things right.
  • Comfortable managing multiple deadlines simultaneously without losing accuracy or composure.
  • A collaborative team player who communicates clearly, takes direction well, and brings a solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Self-starter who can work independently on assigned tasks and knows when to escalate.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including formulas and pivot tables.
  • Experience with accounting software; Yardi, Sage, Oracle NetSuite, or similar platforms preferred.
  • Comfortable learning and adapting to new systems and platforms in a growing firm.
