Overview The Staff Accountant II is responsible for preparing and recording asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information. Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions, resolving discrepancies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting and 5 years of experience or equivalent education and related experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyze variance analysis, reports and records by collecting, and summarizing account information
  • Responsible for general ledger
  • Fixed asset processing and reporting
  • Ad-hoc reporting
  • Monitor reserve accounts and short-term fund investments
  • Prepare and assist with audit
  • Reconcile Balance Sheet accounts monthly
  • Research and reconcile all discrepancies
  • Following internal controls
  • Financial and profitability analysis on a requested basis
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned
