About The Position

Midwest Precision is seeking a Staff Accountant I to support accounting operations in our precision manufacturing environment. This position is ideal for an early-career accounting professional looking to grow their skills while working closely with leadership and operations.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States and qualify for access to ITAR-controlled information
• Position is fully on-site in Eastlake, Ohio
• Must be able to work a Monday–Friday morning schedule

Nice To Haves

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 1+ year of accounting, bookkeeping, AP, AR, or related experience preferred
• Strong Excel and computer skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• ERP/accounting software experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
• Assist with month-end close activities
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Maintain accurate financial records
• Assist with inventory and manufacturing accounting
• Prepare reports and spreadsheets using Excel
• Support audits and special projects
• Other duties as assigned
