About The Position

Live Nation Entertainment is the world’s leading live entertainment company. We are seeking a Staff Accountant I for the Live Nation Concerts division, a segment of the Live Nation live music business. This position is a blend of transactional and entry-level Accounting. This person must be a self-motivated individual with the ability to multitask.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Zero to one-year comparable work experience
• Quality problem solving and communication skills
• Possess excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

• Oracle experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Manage cash requests
• Maintain accurate records and follow strict adherence to Internal Controls
• Reconcile production logs, petty cash and all outgoing/incoming cash requests
• Review and approve PEX transactions
• Enforce processes and controls with all staff levels
• Order and deposit cash
• Charge credit card sales
• Download Paymentech and Amex credit card sales reports
• Download daily cash transactions
• Tracking/facilitating cash orders and reconciling on a timely basis according to policy
• Booking cash returns and expenses from production floats to shows
• Booking cash orders pushed by corporate at month end to NorCal venues for each show
• Create project numbers for new events in Oracle.
• Complete account reconciliations as assigned by supervisor.
• Prepare and record journal entries
• Bank reconciliation
• Provide audit support as needed.
• Communicate accounts receivable with intercompany departments to ensure they are cleared monthly.
• Other duties as assigned
