About The Position

Bring your passion for creating standout experiences to the heart of Scottsdale’s most iconic venue. Scottsdale Stadium is seeking a highly organized and energetic Stadium Events Coordinator to support a wide range of events, including Spring Training operations, community programs, and year-round facility activities. This role helps ensure every event is executed with professionalism, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to serving guests and the Scottsdale community.

Requirements

  • A High School diploma or General Educational Development (GED) equivalent
  • Two years of experience in coordinating a variety of events, activities and contracts
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills shown through ongoing client communication
  • Experience partnering with internal and external stakeholders to smoothly plan and coordinate successful high-volume events
  • Every person employed by the City of Scottsdale shall reside in the State of Arizona during his or her active employment by the City, regardless of whether the employee is approved to remote work.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating event contracts with staff and promoters
  • Providing sales packets and site tours
  • Maintaining the booking calendar
  • Documenting event needs
  • Tracking agreements
  • Processing deposits
  • Partnering with the on-site catering provider to develop food and beverage packages
  • Preparing invoices and refunds
  • Working with internal and external marketing teams to promote Scottsdale Stadium as a premier event venue
  • Updating the Stadium’s website, social media channels, and public postings weekly
